Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed, despite small imperfections.

I bought four of these IR sound boxes for recording for our quest room and they were exactly what we needed with a few issues to fix. First, when I tried loading different sound files, they didn't seem to play. nothing but the first note. Since it was a zombie moan, it got pretty annoying. However, when I saw the pre-existing files on the second player, I realized that this was user error. The files must be named "1", "2" etc. without any further identifier. The second problem I encountered is the USB port on a player. My computer did not recognize the sound box. I took the cable that came with the first one (which had no problems) and it worked. If I had only bought one I would have thought it was a bad block. I'm not sure if a USB phone cord will work, but I suspect it will. The third problem I encountered was the volume. It's still fairly loud at lower settings and therefore tinny. To overcome this, I lowered the volume of my files using the free Audacity software. I was able to hide a file in my zombie's shirt, leaving a small space for the sensor without sacrificing functionality. become a regular customer.
