Review on MagnaFlow Exhaust Products 11216 Muffler by Robert Morrison

This is the real Magnaflow. Originally purchased to replace the factory muffler with factory exhaust pipes. I ended up replacing the 3" inlet/outlet and made all new piping. That's a 2.5 in/out if you're not aware. The 14" impact silencers are quite loud but have a good tone. Direct design, so no loss of performance. Essentially a muffler with double glazing. Google it if you don't know what they look like inside. Has a short break-in period, which may vary depending on driving style. It takes a while for me because I don't drive much every day. Had Magnaflow on previous cars and continue to use them. My only criticism was that it came in the original packaging which you can find on the muffler store shelf. There was no packaging material lying around so as not to damage anything. In fact, the lid of the box wasn't even sealed with tape. In my case it was lucky that it was closed and all the documents stayed in place. Without dents and play. The scratches didn't bother me since it's still a silencer. If it had been a polished show car model I would have been a little more worried.
