Arrived in perfect condition and works like a charm! Purchasing this item saved me $14.95 (modem and wifi) on my monthly cable TV bill. I don't have a phone line, but I can use the internet and wireless connection with this modem. All I did was look at the back of the modem provided by my cable company, hook it up to Revain and find the perfect match. If in doubt that the modem you purchased is not compatible, contact your cable provider for confirmation. After reading the instructions for my new modem and hooking everything up, I called my cable company and gave them the modem information so they could update it on their system and start saving from there. When I got the new modem I noticed that it didn't have a battery and I panicked, but I also noticed that the modem from the cable company didn't have one either. Then I realized it was for backup/power down and it was optional. Good buyer!
