My older Lab fell on ONE foot THREE times in the first two hours of sleeping with this pillow. I rubbed it in well, wiped off the excess and it stayed on overnight. We walked along the asphalt in the morning, returned, and within 1 hour he fell twice because he slipped. I scrubbed his leg vigorously with soap and water to wash it off and let it dry. After that he fell AGAIN and returned home from the potty. Note that he walked slowly every time this happened, thank goodness! Now I'm going around with it all over the place until this stuff finally wears off. If you only have carpet and no outside stairs, don't use this stuff on your feet! I threw it in the trash. I'm sure it will work, but it's too dangerous and not worth the risk of injury.
