My dog takes me on a lot of hikes and it works wonders. She had some damage to her pads from very cold weather, snowy, icy hikes, which prompted me to purchase these as she will not be wearing ankle boots. It healed it and I now use it before and after her hikes for protection and it's amazing.

I was really hoping this product would be great (especially considering how high the rating is) and my pup really needed it but when I received the product it was unfortunately half melted and stuck to the lid and leaked . A little disappointed. It looked like a great solution but very sad because of the condition of the products after delivery. Wouldn't recommend - at least not from Revain.

This is amazing! I won't lie, I neglected my dog's paws and by the time she was almost 8 years old I was paying much more attention to her. After applying this to her paws a few times a week, her paws went from dry and cracked to soft and healthy. The only thing that smells sweet is candy so I have to watch her for a while to make sure she doesn't lick them off.

I have tried different brands of foot pad cream. I have found Vets Preferred to be the best at softening and soothing my dog's feet. The only complaint I have is that the container was empty on one side. That being said, my dog mat looked sick and I figured it would be best to use it anyway. My little guy found it easier to put his foot in the container and then spread it over the bottom of his foot. I highly recommend the product but I hope you get a full jar!

Bought this item because my little basenji/chihuahua mix Jake doesn't wear booties in his paws and I live in the desert. So I tried this and it's amazing. He walks and runs much happier and doesn't try to lick his paws! Aha! The only thing I would suggest is to see where you ship to and in very hot areas you might want to pack better. This paw balm worked well, it moisturizes. However, the smell/aroma is so strong that it is repulsive. The scent of patchouli is so strong that repeated hand washing with soap and water does not get rid of the scent. The whole dog, my hands and the whole room smell like patchouli. In the end I threw it away and bought another balm so that our whole house and ourselves didn't smell like an incense store. I also can't imagine a dog feeling that good about the scent when they lick it.

My older Lab fell on ONE foot THREE times in the first two hours of sleeping with this pillow. I rubbed it in well, wiped off the excess and it stayed on overnight. We walked along the asphalt in the morning, returned, and within 1 hour he fell twice because he slipped. I scrubbed his leg vigorously with soap and water to wash it off and let it dry.
