Two units dead on arrival

I purchased two of these six months ago to keep on hand for when I needed them. Well, I needed them, and neither will move.I have a 300W 12-13.8V power supply which I connected to it, but when I try to power it on it jerks a tiny bit then. does nothing. I tried oiling them, disassembling them, cleaning them, etc, and nothing makes them work.

Pros

Works great but very loud believe it or not. But it does the trick

Cons

EDIT: Burned up in less than 2 months.Good little pump. Using it on my garden drip tape. Works just fine
