Don't buy this for FM radio.

The FM tuner that comes with this thing is the weakest I've seen. It is able to identify only the strongest signals, leaving everything else completely blank and even a barely audible signal filled with noise. Even though he knew he could receive an outside antenna via a coax adapter, he couldn't correct the poor radio reception. The USB component works well enough. The ability to conveniently boot up the device and play audio from a connected USB drive is definitely worth a look. It also has a dedicated Bluetooth antenna which, while I've never tested it, I think gives a decent range for your device. It also has a wide EQ with adjustable bass, shake and more to make it sound exactly how you want it. But alas, the radio, which appears shabby (note that the description says 'built-in radio'), seems to have been stripped of all of its luster and effort. For example, apart from the obvious reception problems, the equalizer system does not work even with FM. It also has an extremely unorthodox tuning system, where the manual knobs appear to fly through frequencies (from 94.8 to 96.0, for example). The only way to manually tune a station is to press each individual number button on the remote control (e.g. 1, 0, 3 and 1 for 103.1). While this is far from the norm and quite unwieldy, it's no big deal, but it does make the wireless component feel belated. I am very afraid that I might come across as harsh and offensive in this review. But that's not my intention. For the last three years I've had to relocate and live in a city where radio reception is spotty at best and chaotic at worst. After spending nine years in a city where all my favorite signals came easily. I sincerely believed that buying other devices could somehow restore the uninterrupted wireless signal I enjoyed years ago. Seller Kied was very generous with my request and offered a solid discount to avoid the stress of processing a return. But while I know I appreciate the USB functionality, the radio was my primary concern and I sincerely wish this product had comparable sensitivity to similar Insignia and Sony products. use for radio.
