Who knew that buying toy bricks could be so expensive? I didn't know exactly! But after getting a few as gifts for my almost one year old, I realized I had to be diligent about which ones I bought to replace the ones we got. The Melissa and Doug stamps she received were only 1 inch cubes and even without opening the package I could see that the ink had bled off the blocks onto the package and the images didn't match the letters (e.g. the block with the letter A was a rocket or something like that). So I asked the donor to ask for a refund and quickly began looking for large blocks for her first Christmas. Most of them were too small (1 inch cubes) and some were larger but didn't contain the entire alphabet. But luckily I found these and they are perfect! great for me as I only have a few blocks left to play with and my toddler still can't figure out how to open the bag.
