This is Lego. What's not to love!

Our 9 year old grandson had a lot of fun with this Lego London set. Easy to follow instructions. It's a pity, however, that Lego didn't make the Ferris wheel swivel, which would definitely add to the authenticity of the scene. I wasn't happy with the price. For some reason this particular Lego set from the Architecture series has become popular and hence the price of it has skyrocketed.

Pros
  • Decent performance

Fun to build

It wasn't as heavy as some of the others and was missing a few parts. I tore off part of it twice to make sure I wasn't using parts in the wrong places and it turned out that parts were missing. Luckily I was able to improvise with some of the other parts I had on hand. They send spare parts from Denmark so I can deliver the parts you need. This isn't the first time I've encountered a missing parts issue.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • High price

I would buy this product again

Fun to collect but much shorter than expected. It was a bit tricky to find all the little details, but everything looked good in the end. If you are planning to buy this for children, be aware that it takes about three days to assemble and can be confusing at times. In addition, the model comes without a pre-assembled base plate, it must be assembled from the supplied parts. The model is also a bit broken. All in all I would buy it again. Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Periodicity

Easy enough for a 9 year old

Our 9 year old wanted a Lego set but had never assembled one before. We bought her this and another small one. This one was much better/easier. The parts were big enough to work with and the instructions were very easy to follow. Has 99 levels. Our 9 year old put it together on her own, except a couple of times we answered a question or found a detail for her. It took her about 8 hours over 3 days. Also the bridge and ferris wheel move which she likes so she can play with it.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Expensive

Not a full London skyline but still a great LEGO build

As a UK immigrant and huge LEGO fan, I was delighted to receive this set, which was originally only available exclusively from the LEGO Store in Covent Garden, London, UK. So it's not perfect, but it's hard to appreciate hundreds of years of history and iconic landmarks in such a small set. LEGO managed to capture some of the most notable sights, but it was a shame not to see places like St Paul's Cathedral and Buckingham Palace (maybe they could do a London Skyline II? Check out my video…

Pros
  • Great job!
Cons
  • Zero

So much fun! - Construction toy

This was my first LEGO set. I was a little dismayed at the small size of the parts and the instructions only had pictures - sort of like an Ikea flat pack. But I was determined to do my best and although I made a few mistakes along the way - due to a misinterpretation of which part goes where - I made it in two days. (About 7 hours between two days I think.) I had a really good time even with the bugs as I was able to fix everything. It is a very pleasant feeling when I look at the London…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
