Review on πŸ”οΈ Stay Safe on Avalanche-prone Slopes with Sun Company AvaGage Skiing and Snowboarding Avalanche Danger Indicator and Trail Inclinometer by Craig Lovro

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Two people are required to measure a remote right-to-left incline

Good for planning a route to measure distant slopes ascending left to right, but the instructions say you need a helper to ascend right to left. This is a very poor design that could be improved with a simple change: the bubble level and markers should be visible from the front and back, but it's difficult to use when you're alone in the field.

Pros
  • THREADED BASE – AvaGage fits snugly onto your ski pole or trekking pole so you can accurately measure incline. Can also be permanently attached to a ski/trekking pole with cable ties (not included). Use it on all poles for quick and easy reading!
Cons
  • Shelter
