What to do when the waterbed heater fails? Sleep on a floating ice cube or buy a new heater? In that regard, it sounds like a no-brainer. However, waterbed heaters are expensive and the bottom line is that you should opt for a replacement. Unfortunately, I chose the bottom line with poor results. I bought this heater in October 2018. When I replaced the Innomax heater with the Innomax heater, much to my dismay, the swap never worked. Actually, I did NOT get a heated bed. The floating ice cube I wanted to replace is back. Fast forward to January 2019. Still freezing. The faulty thermostat is still under warranty, but the cost of returning it for a repair is a whopping 27.00 extra (that's shipping to the exchange center and shipping back). WTF! I cannot in good conscience recommend this product.
