Review on Pirelli Ice Zero FR 205/55 R16 94T winter by Mateusz Banaszkiewic ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

These tires were purchased to replace the Haka R that was 6 years old. When selecting tires, I took into account the fact that I will be making all of my journeys in Hong Kong, where the roads are almost always slushy and almost always had been washed. In general, the tires are on par with the renowned Khaki in terms of quality. Since the middle of October, that makes it almost four months since I first got behind the wheel. because we were able to travel all different kinds of roads. Hatchback of Japanese class B origin. 1. Clean asphalt at +10 degrees Celsius presents no challenges; the tire does not float, and the ride is comparable to that of a summer Michelin. 2. Even with the wet surface, the rain, and the warm weather, there were no issues and no aquaplaning. 3. Slush, water with snow, no issues, good rowing conditions. 4. Snow - continue to row in the same manner. And earlier on Jake, he frequently was unable to drive into the uncleaned parking lot "herringbone," and he typically sat on his stomach in these situations. I pull over at Pirelli since, at least, it was successful. 5. Pure ice presents a challenge; here, you must exercise caution. When it was finally determined that the front wheels had been stuck on a frozen puddle, the vehicle scarcely moved because there was no adhesion to the ice. Another time, he was driving through a snowstorm at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour when he approached a speed bump and started to gradually slow down. However, the anti-lock brakes kicked in, and the vehicle continued to go forward as if it were floating. It was fortunate that there was a slow speed and no one was in front of us at the time. The snow covered a surface of solid rolling ice. Considering that these are not spikes, the way that these tires behave on ice is not anything that I would consider to be a disadvantage. despite the fact that in my own judgment, Haka R displayed a higher level of tenacity in this regard. It is important to keep in mind, however, that you should not anticipate these tires to perform miracles while they are on ice. After the conclusion of the 2022/2022 winter season, I will add a review as follows: As a consequence of the outcomes of the previous winter, I am able to say that tires are only appropriate for use in large cities that have roads that have been adequately cleared of ice. These tires are not recommended for use on pure ice or ice that is covered by snow. No grip! It has been brought to my attention that they are not spikes. However, when I drive through an icy yard at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour, while the car sways from side to side, the rear end walks like a tail, what are your thoughts on how to avoid hooking parked cars? I can't really comment on it. Haka did not give herself permission to act in such a way. It is more comparable to rubber for the cold weather in Europe. If it's not too much trouble, I'd want to make the adjustment next year.

Pros
  • They perform admirably in any temperature and on any kind of surface, with the exception of bare ice and ice that is covered in snow.
Cons
  • On clear ice and ice covered in snow, there are no tracks.
