You see 5 stars on a Tektro product and you are a bit skeptical, assuming that most of these bike park buyers cannot tell a good bike park from a decent one, they just want it to work at the end of the day. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by that. I was looking for something elegant to convert my steel frame road bike into a flat 1x9 bar and this was just the ticket. It was a gamble in my opinion, but they are reliable and work exceptionally well with the dual pivot brakes (mid-reach Ultegra up front and short-reach Tiagra rear). The nifty little levers actually fit my hands better than the contoured levers you see MTB lever style. Everyone here is happy, I just wish I was done with the Tektro logo but I can polish it up later (it's small and looks like silkscreen). The shape of the cable attachment points doesn't allow the levers to fit snugly onto the trigger switches, but it's still very convenient (maybe a 1/4 space between the lever and switch mounting rings). PS plastic clips are designed for safety and are foldable. when a mushroom-type street cable is installed. A bit of a struggle to get in there, but once you do it's a pretty good setup.
