Disappointed with the quality

Bought this antenna to install in the attic and ready to cut the cord off the cord. I found a few manufacturing issues that are specific to Chinese made products: (1) The threads on the U-bracket were not cleanly cut so the nuts were not fully threaded to tighten it to the mast. I made a replacement out of an existing threaded rod. (2) The button on the remote keeps getting stuck when pressed. I was able to solve it by working with this and some silicone grease (I probably won't be using the remote once it's installed anyway). Problems due to poor quality control. The antenna's lightweight design will never outlast the wind and ice of a typical Winner where I live. Since I'm installing it in my attic everything will be fine. The rotor suits my needs of setting it up once and leaving it installed, but if you live in an area where it needs to rotate to point at different stations without having a readout to show the direction it's going pointing and not being able to turn in the desired direction will be a problem. It seems to be working as expected for what I need after fixing the issues I was having. UPDATE: After a few days I noticed that the red power light on the control module went off, but it still seemed to work. I called customer service and after a brief explanation of the problem, they agreed to send me a replacement controller. I received it after a few days but the input jack was broken. Again I call customer service, explain the damage I found on the device. They asked me to email the photo, which I did, and a few days later I got another replacement. This time it went well. Very good customer service but problems with overall quality. UPDATE AGAIN The amp failed again 2 months after the warranty expired. I had to pay for a replacement in the mail. The issue has been fixed, but I think it's a quality control issue. I am considering replacing it with a different antenna. Too many problems.
