I think they are great for a child who outgrows them fairly quickly. No ankle support, the bottom handles don't work but they don't fall apart on me after the first use. The ad also didn't list ankle support or grips, so I can't expect that from them. You are damn cute. I'm pretty sure my baby will outgrow them before they fall apart. I've seen people complain about how wide the opening is, I actually had trouble understanding them which tells me they're going to have a hard time getting started. Think of them like fashionable slippers for babies.
