Very inexpensive solution to a common BMW problem

I added this to my project to replace the oil filter housing gasket on an E36 series BMW. Since this hose ALSO leaked on this car, I replaced it while making the gasket. It works fine - I only removed the star because the hardware wasn't crimped in EXACTLY the EXACT place it should have been. This made fitting the part a little frustrating but did not detract from the effectiveness of the replacement part and will not cause any problems over time as this hose assembly does not move during normal service.
