Perfect for long hikes in national parks. My daughter loved that she could walk through mud and rain without getting her feet wet. My only problem is the Kins sequel. Use totally useless elastic laces! They only serve to prevent the child from putting these boots on (which is almost impossible if I help her). There is a simple solution. We just cut the elastic and replace it with regular laces. Now they are perfect! Keep in mind that if you want to keep the elastic laces, you'll need to order a size or two larger. If you change the laces, the boots will run true to size.
