These hard chalk pencils are really bad. I bought these thinking I would get the same texture as the base colors but forget that. They don't glide over a creamy consistency like the others. Problem: Earth colors are made in France; multicolored made in China and that is pure nonsense! According to Dick Bleek's engineering department, this is a common complaint. Conte' has been letting their customers down during this heyday and they don't seem to care (anything to save a few francs)! You need toothy paper with them and you will get a lot of dust too. save your money; do not buy!
