This device works with my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus (s8+) but the ZaZaRemote software is currently not on Google Play. I had to get a copy from the APK mirror site. This worries me as Google may have removed it from Playstore as it was one of the apps that contained malicious components or libraries. I'm deducting 1 star from my rating for that. Update: The app is back on the play store but I'm reluctant to remove my star as it wasn't there when I got my device and there don't seem to be any other apps that support it. Anyway, this works for my TVs (not my portable AC, which is kinda expected, AC's have different frequencies and usually send all settings at once). , there's a reverse portrait mode that works well with it, so the screen doesn't tip over when viewed sideways to the TV. It fits my case well and the silicone keychain holder feels pretty secure. it tightens as if pulled quickly, like a Chinese finger trap. I haven't found any other apps that work with it yet and I've tried a lot. If anyone finds other apps that work with it, please reply to this review about it. This is a transmission only, it doesn't have a receiver like some of the larger models you'll find here. That means it can't learn if it's not in the database. I removed another star from my rating because the ir database is missing a lot of remote commands that other and open db applications have (enable HDMI mode, etc.). The app has a good wizard to find the right device, but I hate that it's the first button to turn on the power and not volume or mute. Some TVs take forever to turn on, while others turn on quickly. However, anything that involves muting or adjusting the volume is quick. The application is not intuitive to understand that you don't have to use the wizard, but you don't have to use the wizard if you don't want to. It has a database of both official and custom remotes (of those that other larger models from other listings have). I like this key very much. It's handy in size and adds a feature I've missed on my older phones. IR blasters should still be in mobile devices. A lot of people who travel are dependent on or something.
