I start this review with REASON I returned this item. I have collected many parts and mechanisms and I know for sure that the groove connecting the top (where the ladder is located) to the adjustable neck WILL NOT FIT. I could clearly see the slots where they were supposed to meet and they lined up perfectly, but they just didn't "click" right. This prevented using safety pins as the holes didn't line up leaving you with a wobbly platform. I needed this device for work because of a project I'm doing and I did everything I could to make it fit: I lined up the insert perfectly with the slot and gently hammered it with a rubber mallet, but nothing. When I unpacked the Aide Pro, all the screws, nuts and washers were completely scattered. I found that the packaging they came in had been ripped open on purpose, leading me to believe someone else owned the product before me, and then sent it back (I made sure to put it back in the bag and attached with tape). If someone owned it before me and caused build errors, that's also incredibly unacceptable because I paid full price for what was supposed to be a new product but didn't get to use it at all.
