It's extremely handy software if you're working in multiple formats; like JPEG vs PNGs. If you are using cloud functions and having difficulties finding them within an editor (e.g. Lightroom), this is where it helps! I have not found anything that was bad about the service so far. They do an excellent job! There isn't much downside at this point for the business but I can only speak personally that they help my work load because of their speed when managing assets. We use it all the time for client projects/studios or photo collections that we want transferred over to our website. Cloudinary gives you the ability to use the most common image formats including JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, PSD, and BMP. The ability to upload a video file is very helpful. The integration with other platforms is very easy. I am not a big fan of the price. It can be a bit expensive. Cloudinary is a great service to use. I am using it to support all of my design projects. It makes it very easy to store large files and also it makes it easy to upload files to other platforms.
