Review on Beginners Return Learner Strings by MAGICYOYO by Terrance Fisher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice! And throws well too!

We'll get to performance in a bit, but first: look at this thing! Really handsome. I took some pictures as I feel that the pictures provided by the manufacturer are really not true. Other than that, the thing casts pretty well. It will be a great choice for any beginner and more experienced players will not find anything to complain about. Addressing a few points raised by other reviewers: I've read a few complaints about it being unbalanced. Luckily, this mine doesn't do that unless thrown very hard. In fact, some cheap, mass-produced toys will inevitably have random manufacturing defects. If you received yours and have a defect causing this, be sure to exchange it! Another complained that the yo-yo wasn't coming back - to be honest I have a feeling this could be due to user error and parents jumped to the reviews section before they knew what it was should do. This is a "real" yo-yo with bearings. That way he will happily "fall asleep" when exposed. And since it's responsive, a slight tug will flip it back into your hand! If I have one complaint it's that he rushes to hit you! If you're just starting out and planning on doing a few tricks, be aware that you'll inevitably get hit with the yo-yo frequently. If you're not afraid of pain, a plastic yo-yo might be a slightly better option. In this case, the MagicYoYo K1 is a great alternative.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Minor issues
