So I hate giving such a negative review. Initially I liked the carpet, except for tons of endless dust and carpet fibers. I sweep and mop more often. However, I liked the look of the rug with my decor. First. However, after 9 months it is COMPLETELY falling apart. I am adding photos of areas that are being cancelled. I'm almost wondering if we got a defective carpet because these are NOT high traffic areas where the carpet gets a lot of foot traffic. We had to slide the end of the rug under the sofa because it was very worn, but now the same thing is happening to the side of the rug. I still can't figure out how or why this happens because nobody sits in that spot where their shoes can start rubbing through the carpet. I am extremely disappointed. We don't have a huge budget and I was very lucky to get a good rug at such a good price and now it needs to be replaced. I would not recommend buying this rug unless you are just looking at it or it would fit in a room that is mostly unused. My mom had several rugs in this style and I've seen them wear down after a few years, not months, and not that much. I'm usually very happy with the Safavieh brand, but not this time.
