Review on 🔍 LP-560 Logic Probe: Elenco Electronics' Top Electronic Testing Tool by Josh Lockhart

Nice probe. Appears to be well built. I've only had this for a few weeks so I don't know how long it will last but it has worked great for me. I had a very old 1981 IBM computer with a dead motherboard. I had no experience troubleshooting computer circuits and was told I would need all kinds of analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. Someone recommended I buy this simple logic probe and it worked GREAT for my problem. Using schematics and advice from people on the internet, I quickly identified a chip that was supposed to be sending data pulses but was not pulsing. I replaced this chip and my rare early computer is working again. NOTE: There are no instructions or book telling you how to use it in the kit. The back of the box explains the light and sound signals, and that's it. There are many online tutorials that will teach you how to use it.
