Good first - I was able to connect these strings with my old connector strings (another brand) and it worked. Even better, they came out brighter than the original transformer. In the photo you can see the difference - the bottom of the stairs with a transformer is sold under this brand; another part of the stairs with an old transformer. Will get another row for this reason as the old brand stopped releasing plugin extensions. Cons: poor quality control. Both strings have a broken wire at connector level. As a result, a lot of light does not burn. It was also difficult to install as like most fairy lights the copper wire is uncoated (my previous brand has a clear rubber coating to prevent tangling). I did it the third time, I unwound the entire string on the floor and rewound it onto a piece of cardboard. That helped.
