I suspect that positive feedback on this product comes from buyers who have been using the product successfully with 12V, 24V and maybe 36V. I suspect negative reviews like this are for higher voltages. Simply put, when connected according to the instructions (to 48V - white plus - black minus), flicker appears, and then they go out. I ordered two, one came out with a bang, the other didn't work. I ordered a replacement thinking I was just unlucky, but the result is the same. I don't understand how these counters can be rated at 100V.
