We bought this ski rack and after buying it we installed the crossbars. I was admittedly a bit nervous that the quality wouldn't be very good and would cause problems like loosening while driving. However, the product worked great. It was easy to assemble and held our skis and snowboard for ten hours with no issues. The only negative thing I would say about this ski rack is that it is quite noisy and makes a whistling noise when driving on the freeway.
