We have two more star projectors. We bought this one because it has red and green stars and we thought the combination would be nice and different from what we already had. Unfortunately, you can only have green or red stars at the same time, not both (even if the same image shows both colors at the same time). Also, the Red Star option has fewer stars, and the nebula is small and moves very quickly, even on the slowest settings. So it doesn't look very realistic and it's not very relaxing. And as other reviewers have said, the device beeps when it's turned off, so it's not a good idea to use it when you're falling asleep as the noise will likely wake you up. However, we decided to keep it anyway because we love the twinkle of the green stars. The shimmer is unique to this star projector, which is why we use it in combination with another blue star projector for added impact. However, for a noisy green star projector, it's quite expensive.
