A hit for the price. For a third of the price, that would be forgivable. I should have done more research before buying two of these as bedside lamps. The processing is good, but not outstanding. The speaker itself sounds good, but the connection tone is loud and unnecessary. All controls are unfavorably arranged. The light control is right where you put your phone. So when you pick up or put down your phone, the light will always turn on and off. The audio controls on the top of the device are hard to see and hard to touch in the dark of night. Worst of all, there's a bright blue LED charge indicator that illuminates the entire room while in use. I wrapped it in tape but as a solution that defeats the purpose of buying something with a fancy design. Conversely, the lamp itself isn't particularly bright, nor is the dimmable section. it's wide to begin with. Might be great but in my opinion this is one to stay away from.
