Both my sons loved this toy so we bought it as a Christmas present for our niece. Reinforces form and spatial skills and encourages walking when pulling the turtle on the rope. Makes a loud noise when the turtle shell rolls with all figures inside. It doesn't bother us, but might bother people sensitive to noise. (Can also roll inside with no shape and still make noise but not as much). Got this when our youngest son turned a year old and our then 5 year old loved him and played with him.
