Review on 🧽 Qiwip Sponge Mop: Hands-Free Self Wringer for All Floors, Retractable Minimalist Design, Always-Soft Head with Silicone Oil by Latrice Dixon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy installation, doesn't take up much space thanks to the sleek design

This sponge mop is based on a similar idea but with a more sleek design that allows you to wring your hands freely with 4 rollers or wring in the standing ones end cameras. The squeegee head can be folded for self-opening or center-opened with two springs, one for each half of the squeegee, causing the head to open automatically as it rolls out of the baler or bale chamber. To retract the squeegee head when not in use, simply push down on the standing chamber while pulling on the iron rod to force the head to fold into a rotating chamber, squeezing out excess water. Opening the squeegee for use is obviously in the opposite direction, just push the bar while pulling up or holding up the camera. You don't have to be a scientist to really understand this :). Very easy to assemble, instructions on how to set up the mop are illustrated on the back of the box with large diagrams should you need them. The only part that needs a little attention is attaching the sponge mop to the crease nozzle. There should be 5 small plastic tabs on each half of the sponge pad which will be used to snap into the pre-designed slots on the head as shown in the attached images. Simply slide the 4 side tabs under the pre-cut slots on the head, the last tab in the middle snaps in and locks onto the head. Then simply repeat the same process for the other half of the sponge. Well, removing the sponge is a bit tricky at first, but after you've done this a few times, it's really easy. I find it easier to just slide my index finger under the sponge to lift the center tab first, then push or pull the other 4 side tabs of the sponge to remove one half first, then do the same for the other half do. that's all! Not sure if the manufacturer sells the sponge separately, it would be nice to find a replacement occasionally in the future. One more thing, the stand base isn't that wide for an obvious reason (minimalism:) so they tend to tip over in high traffic areas, but if you mount them somewhere in a corner or places with less traffic it should in be okay. by itself. Also, this mop cleans really well, the sponge feels much softer than my other foam mops. By the way, turning the head sideways helps to clean hard-to-reach places.
