Update: They still work at 100,000 miles, although oddly Champion now says the 9002 doesn't fit my engine and recommends 9202. The specs look the same, except the minimum spacing for 9202 is closer but still .006 wider than my factory spec .031 (.037 for 9002 vs. .039 for 9002). I was sure last time that 9002 was recommended and you can manually adjust the gap with no visible damage. First Rating: I can't confirm the advertised 100,000 mile rating, but I haven't had any noticeable loss of power or other complaints. after 40,000 km and about 4 years on a Japanese 4-cylinder engine. I installed them at 190,000 miles having previously used platinum spark plugs.
