Beautiful dress! Well tailored with an extra layer of tulle under the skirt and a silky lining to protect the skin. The hem of the tulle skirt is unhemmed but not loose, allowing the hemline to be trimmed for shorter heights. The modified sweetheart bodice is made of tonal brocade (ivory on ivory) and covered in sheer tulle, elegant but not too grown up for a baby. The dress came quickly but very crumpled; Hanging has smoothed out most of the creases and the gentle handling of the clothes steamer gets rid of the rest. The ivory color is white instead of dark cream and the skirt is platinum instead of light grey, which is a lovely combination in my humble opinion.
