It is possible to insert frozen bread as there is an option to indicate that you are using frozen bread. What is important to me is that when the lever is pressed to start toasting, it is securely locked in place. Some toasters have failed in the past and had to be repressed. When the toast is done, you will hear a distinct click. The lever can be raised slightly to remove smaller toasts. Sounds like an ad but I'm so happy with what we use every day.
