Review on 🔧 Rugged Ridge 18003.10 Steering Box Mount for 76-86 Jeep CJ5/CJ7/CJ8 Scrambler: Heavy Duty and Reliable by Simo Whisperer

My 1980 Jeep CJ5 wandered down the road and was struggling to stay in a straight line. I've installed a steering brace before and it helped, but it made the biggest difference. That's a lot thicker than a two-piece stamped steel bar, which was starting to break. It took a couple of hours to install and I couldn't line up the cross screw so I didn't install the extra bracket. Overall I am very happy with the mount and the fact that it delivered the desired result. My jeep now rolls straight on the road and feels much more stable on the freeway.
