Poor workmanship for steering accessories

The part was changed because it shifted the piston in the gearbox when welded and made steering difficult. I had to change spacers to make it work. In addition, the top mounting hole became off-center by 1/4 inch. Don't save your money and time on this part.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Wrong equipment. c Interior

85 CJ-7. Wrong equipment. The mounting bolts had a different profile than the nuts. I kept thinking I screwed it up. Also, it doesn't fit perfectly. The mounting holes didn't match up after I went out and got my own hardware. I had to redo the back wall. The good thing is that this mount is more durable than standard mounts.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons

but with a little persuasion it fits well. If you have a winch on the canal.

Extremely hard work. Installing it on an old jeep may cause some issues due to the slightly modified frame, but with a little persuasion it fits just fine. If you have a duct mounted winch you can't use that little extra strut, but seems fine without it.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Useless features

Good product! to steering wheels and accessories

Wow, that's all I can say. Almost no modding was used on my jeep! I have a custom 76 cj7 and Po left the stock steering mounts in order. Needless to say, the 38's Chevy 350 will tear this stock apart. Took 15 minutes to install, I played in the mud, ripped up the sidewalk to see if the thing would give at all and it was a big NO, I would buy this again, I recommend the product!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Doesn't matter! - Handlebars and Accessories

My 1980 Jeep CJ5 wandered down the road and was struggling to stay in a straight line. I've installed a steering brace before and it helped, but it made the biggest difference. That's a lot thicker than a two-piece stamped steel bar, which was starting to break. It took a couple of hours to install and I couldn't line up the cross screw so I didn't install the extra bracket. Overall I am very happy with the mount and the fact that it delivered the desired result. My jeep now rolls straight on…

Very successful upgrade!

This steering column mount is sturdy and appears to be explosion proof. It's MUCH heavier than the flimsy factory mount. It's a little tricky to install if you have a winch plate covering the top two screws. It also has a heavy bolt that screws into the frame for extra stability, but my holes didn't quite line up; I had to widen the hole in the frame to secure it but it's worth it. My winch mounting plate used this hole, so instead of using the frame gusset that came with the kit, I attached a…

Excellent steering column mount, prepare to provide your own hardware!

The box arrived crumpled and when I opened it it was clearly a return. It was fine as I bought it from Revain. However, what was simply unacceptable was that ALL the fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers) were missing. Unfortunately I was in a bind and had to fit it in for an upcoming balance bike ride. So I had to rummage through my garage and dismantle my own gear. The cardboard insert (and photos) clearly showed it was meant to come with the gear. While I could have done without it, the…
