Review on 🔧 Rugged Ridge 18003.10 Steering Box Mount for 76-86 Jeep CJ5/CJ7/CJ8 Scrambler: Heavy Duty and Reliable by Donald Waller

The box arrived crumpled and when I opened it it was clearly a return. It was fine as I bought it from Revain. However, what was simply unacceptable was that ALL the fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers) were missing. Unfortunately I was in a bind and had to fit it in for an upcoming balance bike ride. So I had to rummage through my garage and dismantle my own gear. The cardboard insert (and photos) clearly showed it was meant to come with the gear. While I could have done without it, the installation would have been much easier if all the necessary hardware was present. Now that it's installed it makes a great steering gear mount. I particularly like the bolt that clamps the rail. This significantly increases the rigidity of the installation. However, not providing $20 worth of gear was just plain ridiculous.
