Review on Renewed OnePlus 7 Pro GSM Unlocked Phone - 256GB, 6.7" Display, Mirror Grey, Android OS by Ae Ra ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

In general, I recommend to buy. A very good device. I would like to write a lot, but there are limitations. I will add here that I literally immediately liked the course of the physical keys, they do not play, they sit tight, just fine. A good complete cover, so far there is no desire to replace it. The microphones record sound of decent quality. The data transfer speed pleases, it is very fast (compared to Sony, the Wi-Fi speed has increased from 10 Mbps to 250 at the same place: D). It is worth noting that this screen is the best among amoleds precisely in terms of PWM (at least at the time of purchase on 07202222), since the manufacturer provided a flicker reduction function (you can turn it on like this: settings - OnePlus laboratory - DC current reduction), as well as due to the low ripple factor among other flagship competitors on amoled. The function actually works, without it at a brightness below 40% I notice flickering, with it everything is already ok. It was very difficult to choose a replacement phone, because. I’m sensitive to flicker, I don’t want to spoil my eyesight any further, and I wanted to buy something on IPS, but, unfortunately, there was some kind of general “amoledization” with smartphones and to find a flagship on the already worked out and brought to mind IPS technology at the moment buying a phone was simply impossible. It is sad that manufacturers do not care about the health of users at all, but let's hope that since the time of AMOLED it will improve - the flicker frequency will increase at least to 300 Hz, where it will no longer have an effect on the eyes. Regarding the 90Hz screen - recently Chrome cut support for 90Hz in their application, and I really felt the pain))). The difference between 60 and 90 is really noticeable, even in everyday use. At the moment, I chose Opera Touch, where 90 Hz support is present. The autonomy of 90 Hz does not affect much, because. not all applications support them (many continue to work in 60). But most instant messengers, system applications - everywhere 90.

Pros
  • The screen is 90 Hz, the picture is very smooth. In the first days of use, I didn’t particularly catch the feature of the increased frame rate, but when I again get my hands on the “normal” screen with 60 Hz, it seems like everything is lagging, although it’s not about the brakes, but about smoothness. The more I use my phone, the more I like this feature. A screen without a cutout, well, have we really waited! Any notch in the screen is a wild crutch, devoid of functionality and looking miserable. Autonomy - 2 full days with average use. I do not play games, most of the time I read from the screen (messengers, mail, browser, etc.) or watch videos (YoutTube, etc.). In one day, it’s really possible to sit in instant messengers all day, watch a movie, and at the same time, by the evening the phone will not die Performance. Everything is just as reactive as possible, although my comparison may not be particularly correct - after all, I switched to this phone from the Sony Z3, which by this point was already lagging like a piece of . metal and glass No heating for any tasks (except for games - you can go to YouTube for this). Again, my old Sony, even at full brightness, heated up to boiling water, but here - streaming video + wireless headphones + application ate + full brightness = no heating. Very fast charging included (the first 50% is gaining in half an hour) Very good camera modules and final pictures / videos - for examples, it’s better on YouTube, there are a million of them. Pleasant OxygenOs shell Good sound from the speakers, although in terms of stereo, the upper speaker is inferior in volume to the main lower one, but at the same time, the earpiece speaker, in fact, is enough for talking, there were no problems with insufficient volume in noisy places Damn good vibration, nice tactile feedback when pressing various switches, etc. A convenient slider for switching ringer modes, although for me personally it would be more convenient if their order was reversed (in the phone, the upper position corresponds to the "silent" mode, and the lower one to the call)
Cons
  • Price. For me personally, I am already on the verge of that psychological mark, above which I will not spend (45k). But at the time of purchase, due to a combination of factors, there were no competitors for me, so this price can be considered justified. For those who have an old phone still OK, you can wait for the price reduction, especially against the backdrop of almost no upcoming changes in the 7T / 7T Pro. It's just HUGE dimensions, it's almost impossible to use one hand. When will manufacturers stop and stop increasing the display year after year? 6.7 "in this phone, and when 7" were considered tablets. No minijack. The most frustrating piece of news here is probably that OnePlus just recently took pride in releasing flagships with an audio jack, and then went with the trends. Curved screen edges. An extremely controversial decision, for myself I don’t see any advantages in this solution, except perhaps for the moment when you read something in the horizontal orientation of the screen - the text seems to be “wrapped” inside the screen. In all other respects - most of the time - these edges pick up highlights and slightly clip the edges of the content. Screen matrix type - AMOLED. Personally, I see a disadvantage for the reason that the screen uses PWM at a low frequency. In-screen fingerprint scanner. A controversial thing, a physical scanner is faster and more reliable, definitely. Although at the time of purchase, the under-screen scanner in this phone was considered the best, it is still not very good. Only when adding a finger it works quickly, but after 2 weeks of use (quite frequent screen unlocks) it starts to forget the finger, the scanning time increases (up to 2 seconds), and then at some point it stops recognizing it altogether. I do not know why this happens, my friend on the same phone does not have such problems. By the way, 1 time there was a mega fail - my friend took my phone and literally from the FIRST application instantly unlocked it (this did not happen again, but the case is still strange).
