These things worked like a champ. Both my sink and bath drained very slowly. I've tried everything: the baking soda and vinegar trick and even just pouring hot water down the drain. My apartment building is slowly being renovated, so I took matters into my own hands. I didn't need a metal snake in the kit. Orange worked great. I stuck one down the sink drain, wiggled it around (it got stuck a bit), and pulled out a golf ball-sized bundle of light wool. I don't even know why there was hair in the sink - I think the previous tenant combed his hair and washed it in the sink or something. It took 2 more plastic sticks to get the huge light colored clogs out of my tub. If I ever get clogged again, there's no drain, no plumbing, no need. These things are the way!
