don't like the idea, the stand is too heavy and very easy to tip over, I'm 83 and I do NOT find it user friendly, the 'gooseneck' part is too hard and difficult to handle to manipulate, I think most people using this will either be elderly or bedridden and you don't need to make it too difficult and crooked. I would return it but it was a gift and I can't use it so it will be in the closet.
