Update 03/29/2019: The seller refunded the money so I will buy another one and see what happens. My receipt of a defective product could be a one-time thing. Updated 03/28/2019. Unfortunately, this webcam stopped working after 2 days and its rating dropped to one star. :(I will contact the seller for a refund or a replacement. However, it worked perfectly for those 48 hours. Previous Rating: ----------- For a cheap webcam, this is fine. The resolution is only 640 x 480 but the image is sharp and the colors are clear and bright, not washed out or oversaturated.I use this on a 3D printer to track the current state of the prints in real time and for this species low res works fine. The cable is fairly short, but not so short that it's a problem. If you want to mount it more than a few feet from a PC, USB hub, or whatever, you'll need a USB -Buy an extender It might be pinched but a couple of rubber bands will fix that For many applications this isn't necessary but if you need to attach it to something that is upside down or at an angle you will need to add a few rubber bands to fix it e.g u help it grips what it's mounted on Finally i would say it's a decent camera for the price ($10). It would be good to use for skype, facetime etc etc.
