Review on JETech Blue iPad Pro Case for 12.9 Inch (1st and 2nd Gen, 2015 and 2017), with Auto Wake/Sleep Feature by Matt Minette

Since Apple no longer sells smart cases for their iPads I stumbled across this and thought it was a really good price! It has almost 360 degree scratch protection. But it was too thin to not provide drop protection. Unfortunately, that's where all the pluses end. When I received mine, I found that the iPad's bezels are not recessed into the case, but rather sit almost flush or just above the edges. This meant it would pop out slightly and I would have to snap it back into place. While my iPad felt secure in my hand, it still occasionally popped out if I simply placed it on a table. Which isn't very good, especially when you're holding the iPad in your hands. The cutouts also don't perfectly match the microphone and speaker openings. While it doesn't affect performance, some may experience issues as the shape isn't smooth. Let's move on to the built-in smart cover. The microfiber material inside is more like a rough felt material and will pick up a lot more dirt than the standard Apple Smart Cover. This caused small scratches on the screen when dust and grain got on it. This would be a big problem for those who don't have a screen protector. Also, the Smart Jack cannot be used at all. So if you have keyboard accessories that plug into it, you'll need to remove the case. Finally, I noticed that there is a cutout above the volume buttons, leaving room for nothing. This case appears to be backward compatible with the first generation iPad Pro. However, there isn't enough room in the camera cutouts for the first-gen camera's microphone. Therefore, there is no consistency in the corpus. At first glance it looked like a good case at an unbeatable price. But after almost a month of use, it's not for me. If they could fix my problems this would be an amazing case at a reasonable price.
