I never write reviews but I had to review this MUK straightener. It's like I have someone else's hair! I always assumed that I was using the wrong heat protectants, leave-in conditioners, etc. and that my hair was only damaged by the color (blonde) I was applying. It always seemed brittle and uneven after straightening, I knew I had a good flat iron so it never occurred to me that this was a factor to change. Then I stayed at The Cromwell in Vegas and my life will never be the same again! They have one of these in every room and I almost always use my own but decided to give MUK a try and my hair has NEVER been this soft in my life! Not only is it straight, almost elastic, smooth and stays straight longer, but most importantly it doesn't pill! In a bun my hair just falls flat on itself like healthy hair should, in the past my hair wanted to stand up because each one was too straight and didn't fall smoothly. It's important to note that the GHD I had didn't have temperature control so while it was smooth quickly, the heat was definitely a factor for my fine hair (I'm sure it would be great for those with thicker hair), but that aside Other temperature controlled rectifiers I've had weren't efficient enough at the lower heat I had to use. It's the best of both worlds! The temperature I can use with it is much lower than what I have used before and works much better and faster so my hair is healthier! I'm sold - my new brand of hair care tools! Love love love and absolutely recommend.
