This is my second of these types of steering wheel covers and I found it about as difficult to apply as the last one, maybe a little more difficult due to the pretzel in shape it ships became. I don't mind as they fit very well and don't move when placed. However, I was not prepared for the smell of this product. I could smell it through the packaging when I received it and although the smell has subsided I can still smell it in my car. The smell stays on your hands after riding. I also found that this coating isn't particularly soft; it looks like hard padding. It's not particularly uncomfortable, although I wish it was softer. I have chosen not to return it now as I like the look and hope the smell goes away and I get used to how it feels.
