Installed on Hyundai Accent 2013 MY The smell in the cabin has changed significantly. Noticeably fresher air and also noticed that the defroster removes moisture from the inside of the windshield much faster than before. The quality of this filter was better than the replaced Hyundai, which is rare among replacement air filters. The factories are usually better. The old filter was pretty dirty at 78.xxx miles (never changed). The old one was clogged with dirt, leaves and plant debris. The new filter fits snugly and securely. Perfect size and shape. Pro tip: changeover time 5-10 minutes. The filter is located behind the glove box and requires no tools to replace, just your fingers. The replacement does not require mechanical experience. Step 1 - Open the glove box. Step 2 - Locate 1 plastic handle on each side of the glove box bin (the inside of the bin). Step 3 - Turn the knobs counterclockwise half a turn and remove both knobs. The glove box bin now hangs further to allow access to the filter housing. Step 4 - Locate the long horizontal access door on the filter housing. (Housing is black, filter is in the middle of the housing) Step 5 - Locate the tabs on each end of the door and press to release and pull out the door Step 6 - Slide the old filter out Step 7 - Clean Compartment Step 8 - Insert new filter into filter guide slots in housing (charcoal facing up). The filter must fit snugly in the hole. The filter is a rectangle. So if it's not flush, remove the filter, rotate it, and reinstall it. Installation of the new filter is complete, reverse steps 1-5.
