Review on 🔧 TEKTON 4 Inch Swivel Bench Vise 54004: Compact, Durable, and Versatile by Douglas Davis

Maybe it's because this is my first desk vise and I was looking for something that was both affordable and also strong enough to last over a month of light use. The reviews for this Tekton were raving and the price was spot on. After a shipping error that Revain quickly rectified (good job guys) I received a vise with multiple holes punched in both boxes. This is a heavy SOB and needs better packaging. However, it arrived undamaged and wrapped in light oil. The quality so far is excellent. The action is extremely smooth and there is absolutely no slop anywhere. If you're just looking at the handle to turn it, do at least a half turn (just kidding, but it's so instant and smooth). By the way, I've had success with 5/16" mounting hardware. So quality and price. And what about durability? Far has assured me that if I keep using it, there's no reason to think it's going to fail any time soon use it as I intend to use it 5 well deserved stars.
