Amazing laptop docking station accessory

Wow. I am very excited about this docking station. First of all, it is very well made and has a pleasant weight in combination with a high-quality aluminum housing. Even the included stand (which you can use or not) is very well made and a good weight (it won't tip over). The port layout on the dock is well thought out, on one side are the things you would normally plug in and leave (e.g. DisplayPort, Ethernet, USB-C connection to a laptop, power, multiple USB ports ) and on the other side there are ports for things you plug in and unplug more often, like B. SD card reader, headphone jack, USB charging port, which makes sense. Besides that, and most importantly, it works great. I use it on a 15 inch Lenovo Yoga 720 laptop via USB-C/Thunderbolt and everything works just great. I have 2 monitors (1920x1080), ethernet cable, external hard drive connected to it. drive and some wireless adapters for my wireless keyboard/mouse, I went into the windows 10 settings for project and chose "extend" and my windows desktop expanded 3 screens (laptop screen and 2 monitors each) then I decided to to only use monitors, not laptop screen, so I went with Second Screen Only, which only extends my windows desktop to 2 monitors. So now I can open multiple Windows windows on each screen. в док на самом деле также встроен в док.При первом подключении док-станции вы увидите другую букву диска в проводнике Windows как дисковод для компакт-дисков, который на самом деле является просто док-станцией, эмулирующей дисковод для компакт-дисков с драйвером Ethernet on him. Once you install an Ethernet drive, the fake drive CD will disappear in Windows Explorer. I get full gigabit ethernet speed. I also tested my external hard drive plugged into the docking station and it showed exactly the same results as if the hard drive was plugged directly into the laptop. There was no slowdown, as is sometimes the case with some USB hubs/docking stations. One very neat thing about this dock is that it handles displays through the hardware built into the dock, so you don't need to install anything to get the displays working. Some cheaper docks actually use a combination of hardware and software that require you to install software (not just simple video drivers, but CPU intensive software that should always be running in the background) to control 2 displays from their docking station, which is yours laptops used. CPU cycles can slow down your machine a bit. I'm glad that's not the case with the Doc. I wasn't actually all that familiar with the Cable Matters company that makes this dock and I was a bit skeptical at first, but it's a great dock that's very well made and works great. I'm very, very happy with it. I also accidentally bought a few other products from this company (e.g. DisplayPort cables etc) and they were of equally high quality. Although I only use 2 full HD monitors (1920 x 1080) with this dock, it can also drive 4K monitors. The dock even has a switch to select the display (HD or 4K). I highly recommend this dock.
