Great for charging but accidentally lost Android Auto connection. I bought these cables specifically to connect my phone to my Android Auto car stereo. I liked the idea of using twisted pair cables in a car. Unfortunately, both cables in this two-cable set suffered from the same problem. The connection randomly drops and I lose navigation. I tried another brand of cable and there were no disconnects, so I know those cables were the problem. It's a shame, because I really liked the spiral design. If you buy them for charging you should be fine, but if you need a reliable, uninterrupted data connection, like for Android Auto, you might be disappointed.
