Review on Cantu Natural Hair Wave Whip Curling Mousse, 8.4 oz: Define and Enhance Your Curls! by Jennifer Rogers

I don't usually have problems with Cantu products, I use them a lot. I am very dedicated to the Cantu brand and love many of their other products. Cantu products are good value for money. This whip just isn't for my hair type and that's ok! Although based on reviews I've seen it work great for others and that's why I tried it and bought it. At first, yes I read the directions that followed them and to be honest my hair was frizzier when I started than after it dried. .BUT! My hair was incredibly soft and smelled amazing. So maybe I'm not using it as a whip for me to determine the curl? But as an added conditioner and emollient if I decide to straighten my hair. Since he weighed it down sufficiently, the straightening would go very quickly. Smells great, softens hair, only smoothed or weighed down my curls instead of defining them. I see another reviewer saying he had no luck with that either. I think maybe shorter hair will have better luck. It's a very fluffy formula hence the "whip" but I even went back another day and tried again. I doubled the amount of whip I used, the end result was the same.
