I think Cantu is the best option for WOC when it comes to hair care on a budget. I have never used mousse but this one is amazing! I use it right after the shower for volume and also after a wash day to revitalize my hair. It's really light and doesn't stick to your hair at all. Also doesn't add any extra curls or anything like that. I would recommend this product to literally anyone with curly hair lol.

I don't usually have problems with Cantu products, I use them a lot. I am very dedicated to the Cantu brand and love many of their other products. Cantu products are good value for money. I was a little skeptical at first because it doesn't look like chemical filled mousses, but now I'm in love. It defines my waves while maintaining a natural look rather than a crispy or wet look.

This is my favorite product for conditioning my natural curly and curly hair. I apply the product after washing and it gives softness, shine and makes my curly locks easier to comb. Doesn't roll or curl, thick hair is easy to comb. Mild scent and not sticky.

Overall I like the line but this mousse didn't do anything to my curls. It's too light and foamy, almost runny. I use it for my daughter, I have finer hair with curls and it works great for her. So I suspect this product is better for thinner, shorter curls than thicker, longer curls.

To be honest this has done absolutely nothing to my hair other than making it sticky and thick (but not to the point of being styled into anything). The smell of fake coconut is so strong it resembles a dollar store candle. It was so gross I had to wash it out of my hair and pour the rest out of the bottle.

I am a black woman with naturally curly hair and this is the BEST curling iron I have ever used! It's so popular that Walmart and Sally's Beauty Supply can't keep it on the shelf. This is the only brand I've used and I've tried too many that don't dry out or make my hair frizzy. Makes my curls soft and beautiful with no flakes! I get the best results when my hair is damp. The whip dries quickly and my curls are bursting :-)!
